Whether it's an off-airport strip at a youth camp along the Yukon River or a remote fog-shrouded community on the frigid shores of the Arctic Ocean, we can get there to support the work God's people are doing. Meet our fleet of aircraft below, and please consider partnering with us financially to keep God's Word moving freely across the vastness of interior and northern Alaska. Because of the generosity of people just like you, we are able to offer a much more economical and direct air travel option to missionaries, pastors and their families.
Our Piper PA-22 tailwheel-converted bush plane, affectionately dubbed Goldfinch, has the capability of delivering equipment and personnel into areas that most other aircraft can't. With several airframe modifications that enable impressive short-field performance, we are able to support missions at remote, unimproved landing sites. Goldfinch can carry four people and has a flight time of over four hours.
Our Cessna U206 is a workhorse, capable of carrying six people or a large amount of cargo. With long-range fuel tanks providing flight time of over six hours, and certified for instrument conditions, we can transport people and equipment hundreds of miles to and from distant communities on the North Slope. Seating arrangements can be modified to accommodate building materials or supplies to support a wide variety of missions.
With our ever-increasing requests to support missionaries across the northern half of Alaska, we rely on generous volunteer pilots to use their skill and aircraft to help us get the job done. With the uniquely demanding Alaskan environment, we require a high-level of training and experience from all of our volunteer pilots before they can begin conducting passenger-carrying missions for our organization. If you're a pilot and aircraft owner interested in serving Alaska's missionaries alongside us, please contact us today.
Requests from organizations to support large village ministry events and larger teams in Alaska's remote villages increase consistently. An aircraft with a larger payload and more seats is necessary to continue growing and providing efficient support to Alaska's rural missionaries. A Piper Navajo, Daher Kodiak, Cessna Caravan, Aero Commander or something similar featuring more payload, additional seating, and deicing capability would greatly enhance our ability to continue meeting the need for Alaska's dedicated missionaries. If you're interested in helping make this possible, please contact us by clicking below.
When an urgent request for supplies came in from a missionary in the remote Alaskan village of Fort Yukon, one of our pilots was able to make the flight there in just a few hours and completely free. We can do this because someone like you decided to make a difference in Alaska missions and generously gave. Your tax-deductible gift of $40/month covers one of these roundtrip flights each year to an interior Alaska village in support of a missionary living in the bush. Click below to give.
